Elevator Pitch no.1

KeyBrain

Having a lot of things attached to your keychain can be really annoying. It’s bulky and can take up a lot of space in your pocket, it can be uncomfortable to move around with, and it can be a hassle to try a find the right key when you need it.

My solution is a small container that neatly holds all your keys. The key holder would be a thin container, that could fit in your palm, that you would slide your keys in and out of. When you need to use a certain key, there is a knob on the side that raises and lowers the key. This would fix all the problems I listed above. Your keys would take less room in your pocket and be more comfortable to carry, and finding the right key would be easier.

  1. This sounds like a great idea. As long as the engineering on the finished unit is durable I can see a lot of people buying it. Car keys would probably be your biggest issue. They're bulky and some manufacturers include remote entry button on the keys themselves. This just means that you'd probably need to have a key ring attached to the outside of the case, just for weird keys like that. Otherwise I'd say this is a great, marketable idea.

  2. Very interesting idea. I actually never thought about my keys as a bother but after hearing your idea and your pitch, I'm looking at my keys differently. The idea is good and I would definitely invest in one if the price is right and if the design of the box is attractive. Like Kamil stated above, the keys off a car might cause trouble but i'm sure it's something that can be addressed when you are designing the container. Also, I really liked the pitch and it seems like you were passionate about your idea. Your stance and the voice projections was really good as well. Overall great idea and pitch.

  4. Hey Jason! I really liked watching your elevator pitch. I never thought about your invention, and I think a lot of people would get use out of it. I think that people that have a ton of keys get annoyed by them and how much they clank around, and something that could organize them but still keep them handy would be great! Great job overall on your elevator pitch. I hope this idea proves successful. http://laurasici.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no1.html

  5. Hey, Jason. Your idea is like a Swiss army knife for keys and I like it. I don't have a key chain and I carry only one key around me but I bet for others this product will be very useful and I would also find it useful if I ever needed to use it. You have a good opportunity here.
I would link you to my blog post for this assignment but I wasn't able to complete it because of personal/school conflict so here's my main bog instead: http://thisisnotawkward.blogspot.com/ . Keep up the good work!
